Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pretzel bites (frozen or fresh)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz smoked gouda, sliced thin
  • 6 oz pepper jack cheese, sliced into strips
  • 6 oz Genoa salami, sliced thin
  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 6 oz summer sausage, cut into rounds
  • 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard
  • 1 cup beer cheese dip
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle spears or cornichons
  • 1/2 cup Castelvetrano or kalamata olives
  • 1 cup red or green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup roasted and salted mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, or peanuts)
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional garnish)
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread frozen pretzel bites in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes until warm and slightly puffed. Remove and let cool for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while still warm.
  2. While pretzels heat, cut sharp cheddar into 1-inch cubes, slice smoked gouda into thin bite-sized triangles, and cut pepper jack into strips. Let cheese sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
  3. Fold salami slices into quarters and place in a small pile. Roll prosciutto slices into loose cylinders. Arrange summer sausage rounds in a fan pattern.
  4. Spoon spicy brown mustard, honey mustard, beer cheese dip, and ranch into separate small bowls. Place bowls evenly across the board.
  5. Scatter pickles, olives, grapes, and cherry tomatoes around the board in small clusters. Tuck mixed nuts into empty spaces.
  6. Pile warm pretzel bites in the center of the board or in a large cluster near the dips.
  7. Tuck rosemary sprigs around the edges for garnish. Sprinkle extra flaky salt over pretzels. Serve immediately with small plates and napkins.

Notes

For best results, serve the board immediately while pretzel bites are warm. If making ahead, prep ingredients up to 24 hours in advance and warm pretzels just before serving. To keep pretzels warm during the game, place them on a baking sheet in a 200°F oven or in a small slow cooker on the ‘warm’ setting.
