Quick and satisfying wraps combining crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and turkey breast slices wrapped in lettuce leaves. Perfect for a light meal or snack, ready in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) turkey breast slices, low-sodium, thinly sliced deli turkey
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 6 slices bacon, thick-cut or regular
  • 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (vegan mayo optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay 6 slices of bacon flat and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until crispy (about 8–10 minutes total). Remove and drain on paper towels. Keep the bacon fat in the pan.
  2. In a bowl, scoop out the ripe avocado and mash with a fork. Add 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional), and a pinch of black pepper. Mix until creamy but still a bit chunky. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Using the reserved bacon fat, quickly warm the turkey slices in the skillet for 1–2 minutes per side (optional).
  4. Lay out 4 large lettuce leaves on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the avocado mixture on each leaf. Top with 2 slices of warm turkey and 1–2 slices of crispy bacon per wrap.
  5. Carefully roll the lettuce leaf around the filling, folding in the sides if desired. Return the wraps to the skillet seam-side down and cook for 1–2 minutes to seal and crisp the edges slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

If avocado isn’t ripe, microwave it for 20 seconds wrapped in foil to soften slightly. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking bacon to ensure even crispiness. Reheat wraps briefly in a skillet to restore crispness; avoid microwaving to keep bacon crunchy.
