A quick and effortless summer grazing board featuring creamy brie, seasonal fresh fruit, toasted nuts, honey drizzle, and crackers. Perfect for casual gatherings and last-minute entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole wheel of brie cheese (around 8 ounces / 225 grams), preferably creamy triple-cream variety
  • Peaches or nectarines, sliced
  • Seedless grapes, washed and halved if large
  • Blackberries or raspberries
  • Fresh figs, quartered (optional)
  • ½ cup (about 2 ounces) toasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans), roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey (mild floral like clover or acacia)
  • A few sprigs of fresh thyme or rosemary
  • 1 cup (about 3.5 ounces) crackers or thinly sliced toasted baguette
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread nuts on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway, until fragrant and lightly browned. At the same time, slice baguette into thin rounds and toast until golden and crisp. Alternatively, toast nuts and bread in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Wash all fruit thoroughly. Slice peaches or nectarines into thin wedges, halve grapes if large, quarter figs if using, and leave berries whole. Arrange fruit on your serving board in small clusters or loose piles for a natural look.
  3. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the brie wheel into wedges or leave whole with a small wedge sliced for easy serving. Place the brie on the board near the center or a corner for easy access.
  4. Scatter toasted nuts around the fruit and cheese. Fill small bowls or ramekins with any extra nuts and place on the board. Add crackers or baguette slices in small stacks or fanned out for visual appeal.
  5. Drizzle honey over the brie and sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top. Garnish with fresh herbs like thyme sprigs for an aromatic finish.
  6. Serve immediately to keep fruit vibrant and crackers crisp. If preparing ahead, keep fruit and crackers separate until just before serving.

Notes

Let brie sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving for best flavor and texture. Avoid overcrowding the board to keep it visually appealing. Toasting nuts adds essential crunch and flavor contrast. Serve crackers on the side or add last minute to prevent sogginess. Fresh fruit is best used ripe but firm to avoid mushiness.
