A quick and easy charcuterie board for two, perfect for date nights or lazy Sundays. This light and loaded board features creamy cheese, salty meat, sweet fruit, and crunchy nuts, all arranged beautifully in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz Brie or Camembert
  • 3 oz Aged Cheddar
  • 2 oz Goat Cheese Log
  • 4 oz Prosciutto
  • 3 oz Turkey Breast
  • 2 oz Genoa Salami (optional)
  • 1 cup Red Grapes
  • 1 Apple or Pear
  • 1/2 cup Dried Apricots
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • Small handful of Fresh Rosemary or Thyme
  • 1 cup Crackers or Crostini
  • 1/4 cup Almonds or Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Pistachios
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Fig Jam or Red Pepper Jelly
  • Cornichons or Pickled Onions (a small handful)
  • Flaky Sea Salt
  • Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients (5 minutes): Take your cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes before you start. Wash and dry your grapes and cherry tomatoes. Slice your apple or pear just before serving to keep it from browning. If you’re toasting nuts, do that now—just a few minutes in a dry pan over medium heat until they smell fragrant.
  2. Set Up Your Board (2 minutes): Place your small bowls or ramekins on the board first. Put the honey in one, the jam in another, and the cornichons in a third. Arrange them in a triangle pattern—this creates natural sections for everything else. I always put the honey in the center because it ties everything together visually.
  3. Place the Cheeses (2 minutes): Position your cheeses around the bowls, spacing them out. Cut the brie into wedges but leave them clustered together so it looks like a whole piece. Slice the cheddar into thin triangles and fan them out. The goat cheese can stay whole—just score the top with a knife so people know where to cut. Leave space between each cheese so they don’t blend together visually.
  4. Add the Meats (2 minutes): Fold or roll your prosciutto into loose ribbons and place them near the brie—they pair beautifully. Lay the turkey slices flat, slightly overlapping, near the cheddar. If using salami, fold the slices in half and arrange them in a line. The key is to create height and texture, not just flat layers.
  5. Fill In with Fruits and Vegetables (3 minutes): Tuck clusters of grapes into empty spaces. Arrange the apple slices in a small fan near the cheddar. Scatter the dried apricots and cherry tomatoes around the board, filling gaps as you go. Don’t overcrowd—leave some breathing room so each ingredient stands out.
  6. Add the Crunch (2 minutes): Place your crackers or crostini in a small stack or two around the board. Sprinkle the almonds, walnuts, and pistachios into any remaining gaps. Think of this as the finishing touch—the nuts add color and texture, and the crackers give people something to build on.
  7. Garnish and Season (1 minute): Drizzle a little honey over the brie and goat cheese. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the turkey and tomatoes. Add a few cracks of black pepper over everything. Tuck small sprigs of rosemary or thyme into the board for color and aroma. Step back and admire your work—you’re done!

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor. Slice apple just before serving to prevent browning. For a dairy-free version, use vegan cheese and plant-based meats. For a vegetarian version, omit meat and add extra cheese or roasted vegetables.
