A quick and easy fall charcuterie board featuring creamy brie, crisp Honeycrisp apples, prosciutto, salami, nuts, and a honey drizzle. Ready in 15 minutes, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Brie cheese (double or triple cream)
  • 4 oz Sharp cheddar cheese, sliced into thin wedges
  • 2 large Honeycrisp apples, cored and sliced into thin wedges
  • 1/2 cup dried figs or dates
  • 1/2 cup red grapes, washed and left in small clusters
  • 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz salami (Genoa), sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (walnuts and pecans)
  • 1 cup crackers or crostini (mix of water crackers and whole-grain)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Flaky sea salt (like Maldon)

Instructions

  1. Prep your cheese (2 minutes): Take the brie out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes while you prep everything else. Slice the sharp cheddar into thin triangles — about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Prep the fruit (3 minutes): Core the Honeycrisp apples and slice them into thin wedges — about 8-10 wedges per apple. Toss them with a squeeze of lemon juice if you’re worried about browning. Wash the grapes and leave them in small clusters of 3-4.
  3. Prep the meat (2 minutes): Tear the prosciutto into rough, bite-sized pieces. Arrange the salami slices in a small pile or fan them out slightly.
  4. Arrange the board (5 minutes): Start with the brie. Place it somewhere near the center or slightly off to one side. Place the small bowl of honey next to it if you’re using one. Fan the apple slices in an arc around the brie. Add the cheddar wedges on the opposite side. Scatter the prosciutto and salami in loose piles. Fill in gaps with the grapes, dried figs, and nuts. Add the crackers in small clusters around the board.
  5. Finish and serve (2 minutes): Drizzle the honey over the top of the brie. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the apples and the brie. Tuck a few rosemary sprigs around the board for color and fragrance. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the board. Leave a little space between elements. If making ahead (up to 2 hours), cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Add apples and honey drizzle right before serving. For best results, let brie come to room temperature before serving. Toast nuts lightly for extra flavor.
